The Palace Hotel - an exceptional project of the King of Morocco - opened in the summer of 2010 in the middle of the medina, the historic old city of Marrakech. The complex, modeled after the historic architecture of an ancient Moroccan city, spans 3.5 hectares and has been largely integrated into the ancient city walls of Marrakech. The highlight of the lobby is the cruciform pool, which can be transformed into a water-lined walkway by a hydraulic system when needed. The gardens between the individual Andalusian-style riads invite guests to linger on their paths lined with olive and orange trees and waterways. The exclusive service is tailored to the individual wishes of the guests and subscribes to the highest discretion. All procedures take place in the underground service city and guarantee maximum privacy. It also offers a swimming pool, separate children's pool, Moroccan Spa, Cigar Lounge, library and Kid's Club (4 to 12 years old).
Gastronomy: The hotel's three restaurants are under the direction of Michelin star French chef Yannick Alleno. The gourmet La Grande Table Française serves French gourmet specialties. La Grande Table Marocaine offers traditional local cuisine in the evenings. International cuisine is offered at La Table Restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Lobby Bar & Chimney Lounge is ideal for a drink between meals or cocktails in the evening. The Cigar Bar offers fine wines and cigars. The Tea Lounge Afternoon Tea offers light meals and drinks.
