Visit the almost 1000-year-old capital of Vietnam and discover Hanoi's many facets.
Experience an enchanting culture influenced by both Chinese and French cultures. A capital with four million inhabitants, which radiates peace and tranquility. Your tour starts in the morning and continues in the afternoon after a tasty lunch in one of the best restaurants of Hanoi. In the evening, if you wish, you can experience the unique water puppet theater.
In the morning, two cultural attractions are on the program - a pilgrimage to the Ho Chi Minh Complex and the Temple of Literature. At the beginning, you will enter the complex, which was completed in 1975 and includes the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum and museum, as well as the presidential palace. Even the Vietnamese travel to this special place. The Temple of Literature, your second cultural highlight this morning, was built in 1970, originally as a Confucius temple. Today it serves as a university and as the oldest institution of its kind it points out the importance of Vietnamese education.
In the afternoon, you will visit the Ethnology Museum, the Ngoc Son Temple, and go on a bicycle tour. The Ethnology Museum is considered the best in the country - see a fascinating exhibition of Vietnam's 54 ethnic minorities. The tour continues on a small island in the legendary Hoan Kiem Lake, the most central point of Hanoi. Here the fantastic Ngoc Son Temple was built in the 13th century, which you will visit. In the late afternoon, you will have the opportunity to stroll for an hour through the old town of Hanoi as part of the bicycle tour. This is also known as "the 36 streets", whose stores offer everything your heart desires.
