Catamaran sailing trip through the Seychelles

The best travel time is from June to October. From mid-May to the end of August, the ocean is sometimes rough, and the water quite choppy. For our divers, snorkelers, and sailors, the months of April, May, and November are ideal.

Aboard the catamaran Eleuthera 60, you will experience some of the beautiful islands of Seychelles. Sail past unique beaches and explore the flora and fauna of the islands during various shore excursions.

After boarding in the morning, you will leave Mahé and sail to the first destination of your journey, Sainte Anne Marine Park. Anchor the catamaran and spend your first night at this beautiful destination! Enjoy your first opportunity to snorkel in the colorful underwater world.

After breakfast, visit Sainte Anne Marine Park, the perfect place for a snorkeling excursion! The trip continues after lunch to Cocos Island. The island consists of jagged granite rocks with grooves created by the wind and sea and is also captivated with harmonious shapes and colors. Because of the abundance of fish, the island is as attractive underwater as it is above water. Continue your journey to La Digue, where you will anchor in the evening in front of the picturesque harbor of La Passe.

On La Digue, you will have the opportunity today to explore the most beautiful island of Seychelles by bike or comfortably on a horse. In the shade of the high palm trees, along the houses covered with palm leaves and small copra factories, you will reach the dream beach Anse Source D'Argent. This beach lies in the L'Union Estate National Park and forms a unique backdrop with its polished granite rocks, making it one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. In the evening, you will anchor again in front of the La Digue harbor.

Your sailing trip continues to Cousin Island. This island has been a nature reserve since 1968 and is home to rare birds and the famous giant tortoises. After your lunch on board in the afternoon, you will continue to the second-largest island of Seychelles, Praslin. We recommend visiting the National Park Vallée de Mai, a UNESCO-protected nature reserve and home to several indigenous palm trees. The famous Coco de Mer, the symbol of Seychelles, grows here! With a bit of luck, you will also discover the rare black parrot in the palm trees. In the evening, you will anchor in the bay of Sainte Anne.

The next destination of the trip is Grande Soeur, an island consisting of two steep and rocky hills connected by a small coconut plantation. In the evening, a barbeque on the beach awaits you on one of the most beautiful islands. Spend an unforgettable day on the beach and enjoy various delicacies from the barbecue. Explore the island (approx. 40 minutes) and take advantage of the wide range of water sports available. You will spend the night in front of Curieuse or Anse Petite Cour.

Curieuse is part of the Marine National Park and home to more than 100 giant turtles that live freely on the island. After lunch, you will reach the small island of Saint Pierre, a collection of round granite rocks typical of Seychelles. Experience the unique underwater world while snorkeling and the many colorful fishes that cavort directly in front of you. You can anchor off Anse Volbert or Anse Lazio on Praslin in the evening.

After an unforgettable journey around the most beautiful islands of Seychelles, you will return to Mahé. On the way, you will have the opportunity to snorkel, swim, or relax by Anse Volbert or Anse Lazio. Your last night aboard will be spent in front of Mahé.

Eleuthera 60

Your sailing trip takes place aboard the catamaran Eleuthera 60. The cozy cockpit is around 18 meters long and can accommodate eight people. The catamaran has four standard cabins and offers a TV, Hifi/CD/radio equipment, and an international galley. There is a captain, waiter, cook, and deckhand on board. For water activities, guests can use the kayaks and snorkeling equipment free of charge!
