Enjoy an easy hike to the Khmu and Hmong villages in the Luang Prabang province.
Around 8:00 AM you will be picked up by your local tour guide and driver. After a short drive you will reach Elephant Village, which is located on the outskirts of Luang Prabang city. From there you will travel a short distance aboard a long-tail boat to the starting point of your trek.
Your first stop on this easy hike is Khmu village. The Khmu are one of many different ethnic minorities in Laos. Here you will learn about the everyday life of the locals and get to know their way of life better.
Afterwards, the hike continues to the village of the Hmong, where a typical Laotian lunch will already be waiting for you. Share your impressions in direct exchange with the villagers. Afterwards, you will have a bit of time for a short exploration of the village before you go back to Elephant Village, following a short long-tail boat trip.
On the way back to Luang Prabang, you will visit the traditional art & ethnology museum.
