Welcome to Morocco. You will land at the international airport of Marrakech and meet your guide in the arrival hall, who is already waiting for you and will greet you warmly. Together you will depart for your hotel, The Pearl Marrakech. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Use the time to recover from your arrival or explore the city on your own.

Marrakech is the ancient capital and a reflection of the Moroccan Empire. Time-honored traditions and cultures meet a modern, vibrant metropolis. If you're looking for the real Morocco, you'll find it in the capital's medieval quarters. The people of Marrakech love their city and preserve its customs and monuments with the utmost dedication. Many of the city's attractions are clustered in a small area: starting with the souks in the north, to the rooftop terraces of many hotels from which you can overlook the entire city, to Djemaa el Fna, the square of jugglers with its market traders and artists.

Today we invite you to join a full day exploration tour. You will visit the Koranic school Ben Youssef Medersa as well as the Qoubba Almoravides, the part of the mosque where the faithful perform their ritual ablutions. This complex was one of the first fountains in the city and served as a water supply for people and animals.

Afterwards, you will drive to a Moroccan family who will invite you for dinner. You will get an insight into the local culinary art and have the opportunity to exchange with them. Well fortified, you will visit the famous marketplace Djemaa el Fna, the heart of the city. It is especially beautiful at late hours, when snake charmers, performers and jugglers appear alongside fruit, vegetable and spice stalls, bringing the marketplace to life. At the head of the market looms the 12th-century Koutoubia Mosque. Its minaret is arguably the most perfect Islamic structure in North Africa and inspired the architects of the Giralda in Seville or those of the Hassan Tower in Rabat, among others.

After your lunch at a riad in the medina, take a detour to the famous El Badi and Bahia palaces before taking a horse-drawn carriage to the Majorelle and Menara Gardens. The Majorelle Garden is an oasis - a three-dimensional painting of plants and architecture from around the world created by painter Jacques Majorelle.

You will enjoy dinner at Lotus Club Restaurant (or similar).
