Are you ready for an extraordinary South African holiday? Visit impressive and diverse landscapes en route to the thrilling metropolis of Cape Town! Along the scenic Panorama Route, past the Drakensberg and Swaziland, you will adventure to the coast of the Indian Ocean. Drive along the world-famous Garden Route to Cape Town and discover all the wonders South Africa has to offer!
The best time for a safari in Kruger National Park is from July to mid-October. At this time, it is very mild, and it hardly rains. Since the vegetation barely overgrows because of the dry season, many wildlife observations are possible!
The best time to travel to Cape Town and the Garden Route is during the South African spring (September to November) and the fall months (April and May). Temperatures remain pleasantly warm, and rainfall is low. The summer months (December to February) are also a popular time to travel. Since many accommodations get fully booked quickly for summer vacations, we recommend that you book your trip well in advance.
When you land at the Johannesburg International Airport, one of our partner representatives will be waiting for you at the arrival gates! He or she will give you all of your travel documents and help you get to your next flight to Nelspruit Airport.
Once you arrive in Nelspruit, pick up your rental car and head to your first accommodation in Hazyview. Now that you're closer to the Kruger National Park, you can quickly drive to all of the activity locations!
Time spent traveling from Nelspruit Airport to Hazyview: approx. 1.5 hours / approx. 80 km

Connecting several cultural and natural points of interest, the Panorama Route will take you on an adventure amongst some of South Africa's best views.
Visit Blyde River Canyon on your way to Kruger National Park, or stop at God's Window, a majestic viewpoint in the canyon high above the Mpumalangas African landscape. These breathtaking viewpoints and their pure natural beauty have inspired many artists and photographers over the years.
Continue heading north toward Bourke's Luck Potholes, geological wonders that would fit in with the moon's rocky landscape.
As the drive continues, you will finally reach the most beautiful lookout, Three Rondavels Viewpoint. Look out toward the majestic views of the rocky crests that look like traditional African round huts and onward to the green canyon tops.
As the sun slowly begins to set, the South African sky puts on a fantastic show for you. The impressive color contrasts reflect off the reddish rocks and lush green vegetation, creating unforgettable memories of the natural wonders along the Panorama Route.
Today's adventure leads you to the untouched Kapama Private Game Reserve. Not only is it home to some of the world's most endangered animals, but it also offers four luxurious safari camps. The game reserve borders Kruger National Park and doesn't have any fences separating the private and national park so that animals can roam freely.
42 mammal species, over 350 bird species, and even 'The Big 5' live amongst the 13,000 hectares of land. The Klaserie River flows through the reserve and is an ideal hunting ground for leopards.
When you arrive at your luxurious safari tent, your ranger will greet you and take you on your first safari experience! Hop into the Land Rover, bring along your camera, and get ready for an unforgettable journey where elephants, lions, and zebras dominate the land.

The Sabi River flows along the 65,000 hectares of land and the reason why this particular game reserve boasts lush and juicy flora.

Embark on a unique night safari and drive off the beaten path for better chances to see endangered species or 'The Big 5'. Sabi Sands is known for their close encounters and numerous leopard sightings, so keep your eyes peeled!
