Silky Oaks Lodge

The fantastic Silky Oaks Lodge is a feast for the eyes even from afar. Standing on stilts, it nestles into the lush green vegetation of Daintree Rainforest on Australia's east coast. From the house you can enjoy nature on hammocks. Only 20 minutes by car separate you from this nature escape and Port Douglas. The house is located in tropical Queensland in the north of Australia, about 80 km from Cairns.

The detached 43 tree houses offer beautiful views of the surrounding rainforest. All rooms are very stylishly furnished with natural materials and exude pleasant atmosphere. Air conditioning, minibar, telephone and other amenities are part of the equipment.

Treehouse Retreat - approx. 44 m², incl. balcony. The rooms have stylish furnishings and a luxurious marble bathroom with a walk-in rain shower. Maximum 2 adults

Garden Treehouse - approx. 47 m², incl. balcony. Rooms feature silk oak and rosewood interiors. Large windows offer wonderful views and access to the balcony, which is equipped with a double hammock. Maximum 3 adults

Treehouse Premium - approximately 49 m², including balcony. These rooms offer privacy as well as comfort. Large windows open access to your private veranda where you can relax in the hammock. The modern marble bathroom has a rain shower and leaves nothing to be desired. Maximum 3 adults

Riverhouse - approx. 47 m², incl. balcony. Spectacular views of the lush rainforest are available from the Riverhouses. Listen to the sounds of the Mossman River right outside your window. The interior design is elegant and very stylish. You will also have unique views of the rainforest from the bathroom. Maximum 3 adults

Billabong Suite - approx. 75 m², incl. balcony. The ultimate rainforest luxury is revealed in the Billabong Suite. Here, in addition to a living/bedroom, there is also a separate lounge. Both rooms lead to the large balcony, which is equipped with a hammock. Privacy is guaranteed here. Maximum 3 adults

The bar invites you to enjoy a cozy drink. Overlooking the Mossman River, the "Treehouse" restaurant will spoil you with a wide range of authentic Australian dishes and local wines.

In the outdoor pool of the complex, you can relax or swim your morning laps. You can also exercise in the fitness center. Or perhaps you'd like to try your hand on the tennis court. You can also explore the Mossman River on a canoe trip or discover the Daintree Rainforest on a guided hike.

There is no lack of wellness offers at Silky Lodge. Enjoy Sodashi massages or foot treatments. Of course there are also the classic face and body treatments at the Healing Waters Spa to choose from. No matter what you choose, the spa is definitely the place to unwind.
