The months from December to April are considered the best time to travel to the Dominican Republic. Average temperatures are around 30° Celsius and, at night, it rarely gets colder than 20° Celsius. With a water temperature of about 27° Celsius, there are optimal conditions for a relaxing swim in the sea.

Only 600 meters above sea level, Jarabacoa is a popular vacation destination for locals. The place is characterized by pine forests, the rushing Rio Yaque del Norte and Rio Jimenoa, and high mountains that provide spring-like temperatures all year round. As a climatic health resort, this place is especially popular with hikers and nature lovers, who can find countless adventurous sports here. But this fertile region is also known for flower cultivation and horse breeding. At lunch, you will arrive at your base for the next three days, where you can already participate in the first activities in the afternoon.

During the half-day tours you will be accompanied by experienced guides and tour leaders, some of whom speak German. Whether you take part in further activities in the afternoon, or simply relax and unwind in the wonderfully fresh nature, is entirely up to you.

• River Rafting: Riding the longest river in the Caribbean with category II-III rapids for 13 kilometers in a rubber dinghy.
• Canyoning: The Jimenoa River offers perfect conditions for jumping into deep pools, rappelling passages and rushing waterfalls and water slides.
• Baiguate Waterfall: Discover the breathtaking 30-meter-high waterfall with its natural pool, to which you can hike or ride a horse.
• Jimenoa II Waterfall: Take a hiking tour to the waterfall.
• Maroma Adventure Course: A lot of skill is required here, because nine challenging obstacle stations must be overcome in the course.
• Mountain Bike: Whether you're a beginner or an advanced rider, the variety of trails and rides offers an adrenaline rush for everyone.

After the last two adventurous days, you have earned a free morning. Enjoy the time at the pool before you leave your accommodation during the day. Enjoy the unique view over the landscape one last time.
