About your experience

A transfer will pick you up at your hotel in the late morning and drive you to the impressive La Fortuna Waterfall. Take a refreshing dip in its tropical water basin as you enjoy the natural views that surround you.

After your swim, head back to the village and enjoy a delicious lunch in a traditional restaurant.

Next on the itinerary is a hike to one of the reserves around the Arenal volcano! After walking for 45-minutes, you will reach the old lava fields of 1992. The Arenal volcano is one of the most active volcanoes globally - regular ejections of gases, water, and fumarole always attract millions of people to the 1,633-meter-high natural wonder.

As you stand upon the cold lava, watch the sunset drop behind the unique landscapes as different colors put on a show in the sky. This experience also allows you to see many other plant species, the animal world, the volcano's splendor, and the Arenal Sea.

Afterward, you will visit the Tabacon Hot Springs to round up this adventurous day. Now it’s time to relax in one of the many small and large hot water pools!
