4 nights full board accommodation on the Skorpios III in an inside cabin on the Atenas Deck, Chile
Early in the morning at 8:00, you will reach the glacier, Amalia. Its blue towers stretch a whole 100 meters into the air. You will have a unique view of the ice colossus from the ship. The trip to the glacier will already give you an idea of what to expect. Next, cross the Kirke Narrowness, Morla Vicuña, Union, Collinwood, and Sarmiento channels. See the glacier’s spectacular shapes and colors up-close. At 9:15, continue towards El Brujo Glacier, which you will reach around 11:00. The captain will try to get you as close to the glacier as possible. If you are lucky, ice blocks will break off the glacier. Depending on weather conditions, arrival times may also be delayed.
At 12:30, head to Calvo Fjords in motor boats. Calvo Fjord is a large theater formed by glaciers. The waters are still and appear as if the ice is floating on the water. And as you soak yourself into the surroundings, look up to the sky and see how it reflects on the crystal clear water.
Enjoy the natural spectacle of the surrounding glaciers, such as Fernando Captain Constantino and Alipio from the water. In the afternoon/early evening, you will sail further towards the fjord Las Montañas.
After breakfast, you will set out for a visit to Las Montañas Fjord. Five small glaciers hang here from the Sarmiento Mountains into the picturesque fjords.
At 10:00, you will visit the Bernal Glacier, where you can take a leisurely hike to its base. Multicolored icebergs float around in the fjord of Herman Glacier. Marvel at the imposing ice masses and let the mystical atmosphere enchant you.
Afterward, you will see the remarkable color contrasts of the Alsina and Paredes glaciers. Let the magnificent ice landscape work its magic on you. If you listen carefully, you can hear the glacier's cracking or calving and see ice blocks sliding into the water. At 17:00, continue the cruise and cross the Kirke strait. At 21:00, the bells will be rung for the farewell party with dancing, and around 22:30, you will arrive at the port of Skorpios Terminal in Puerto Natales.
The last day has dawned after a final hearty breakfast.
Check out between 08:00 and 09:30, and then you will be transferred back to Punta Arenas to the airport. From there, you can continue your further individual Chile round trip. Our knowledgeable Chile specialists will help you if you need assistance.
