Your early wake-up call will be worth it today because you will set off for the majestic El Tatio Geysers! Around 04:00 AM, you will start your 90 km journey to the great geysers for an unforgettable sunrise. At an altitude of 4,321 m, you will reach the high valley of Tatio where you will see the spewing geysers for the first time.

Don't forget your camera: the first morning rays will provide the perfect backlight to take amazing photos of this natural spectacle. With a little luck, you might even meet the vicuñas, the wild relatives of the llamas. Sadly, they have been hunted to near extinction in recent decades for their fur.
