Tin Tub Wanaka

Only about two kilometers from Wanaka Township, in the Otago region of New Zealand, lies this small lodge. This enchanting place is surrounded by lakes and mountains, which makes numerous exciting activities possible. Thanks to its slightly elevated position on a hill, the views extend into the far distance and over the unique landscapes.

As the name of the hotel suggests, each of the lodge rooms includes two pewter bathtubs, set in the garden and overlooking a unique landscape. Enjoy the special atmosphere under the clear starry night sky overlooking the mountains - what a great way to end the day.

A total of five rooms are divided into the following categories:

Peak View Room - 32 m². These rooms are located above the lodge garage and have balconies overlooking the mountains and the countryside. Equipped with heating, coffee and tea making facilities, homemade cookies, fridge, electric blankets, alarm clock, radio and safe, you will find everything your heart desires there. The bathroom has a shower cubicle, hairdryer and toiletries.

Lodge Room - 44m². This room is located just outside the main lodge. With high ceilings, the room provides a feel-good atmosphere with a Californian king-size bed, comfortable seating and French doors leading to the private terrace where there are two heated bathtubs. The lodges have air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, DVDs, tea and coffee making facilities, homemade cookies, a refrigerator, electric blanket, alarm clock and radio. The spacious bathroom has a shower stall, large spa tub, two sinks, bidet, bathrobes, hairdryer and toiletries.

As a guest at the Tin Tub Wanaka, you can use the hotel’s sauna.

For those who want to practice sports, the hotel offers a tennis court, a basketball court, a pool that is heated in the summer and mountain bikes for renting.

In winter, the ski resorts are not far away, and there is a ski room for skis and snowboards.
