The beautiful boutique hotel nestles in the Ceylon Tea Trails' scenic wine-growing region, and its location reaches an altitude of 1250 meters! The bungalows spread out across the former tea plantation grounds and around Castlereagh Lake, anywhere between four and fifteen kilometers apart. It’s an ideal accommodation for nature lovers since there’s an array of flora and fauna to see. The Central Highlands, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is close by, and Colombo is about four hours from the Ceylon Tea Trails. Colombo International Airport is about 3.5 hours away.
As the boutique hotel’s name suggests, everything on the beautiful plantation revolves around tea. Start your day with a delicious “Bed Tea” before enjoying the hotel’s English or local breakfast.

The Summerville Bungalow is on the shores of Castlereagh Lake, boasting a traditional country house style.
The Castlereagh Bungalow offers uninterrupted views of the lake and versatile design.
The Norwood Bungalow awaits you at the eastern end of the Bogawantalawa Valley with a breathtaking panoramic view and a 50s flair.
The Tientsin Bungalow is a colonial house with a private tennis court.
All bungalows have four to six rooms and suites and a spacious bathroom with two sinks, a bathtub, and a shower. The bright colors and antique interior harmonize to create a feel-good atmosphere.
In each bungalow, you can choose between the following room categories:
Luxury Room - approx. 31-44 m², includes a king-size bed or two single beds. Enjoy a fantastic view of the garden, lake, or tea plantation.
Garden Suite - approx. 36-47 m², includes a king-size bed, veranda, and a private garden. Soak in the breathtaking views of the garden, lake, or tea plantation.
Master Suite - approx. 62-91 m², includes a separate living room and a private garden. Relish incomparable views of the garden or tea plantations. Not available in the Castlereagh Bungalow. In the Tientsin Bungalow, the master suites don’t have a private garden.
In the Relais & Châteaux chef’s gourmet kitchen, you can enjoy fresh and regional products, such as vegetables and herbs that come from the hotel’s garden and tea from the surrounding plantations.
You can end the day with an abundant four-course menu, accompanied by fine wines.
