The luxurious boutique hotel nestles itself in the neighborhood of Oriental Bay and overlooks the Chaffers Marina. The hotel received several awards for its modern urban-chic style. Exquisite restaurants, such as the Vivo Enoteca Cucina, are about fifteen minutes from the hotel. The opera, theatre, and Te Papa Museum are also within easy reach. The rooms offer beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean on one side and the country’s lovely capital on the other.

And while you’re here, you should try the typical New Zealand breakfast: four slices of toast with lots of bacon and bananas, all soaked in maple syrup! Is your mouth already watering?

The hotel is the perfect mixture of old and new.

The lobby bar offers a variety of delicious snacks and refreshing drinks. There’s also a table and a cozy fireplace. When you arrive, the owner, Alan Blundell, usually welcomes each guest with a warm handshake!

The elegant rooms include an LCD flat-screen TV, free WiFi, and over fifty Sky channels, podcasts, and digital audio functions. Modern technology meets antique interiors from the 1960s. The designer and owner, Alan Blundell, has collected antique pieces and perfected the hotel over the last few years; every detailed corner reveals Alan’s twenty-two years of interior design work.
