Jicaro Island Ecolodge

The lodge nestles itself on Jicaro Island in Lake Nicaragua, not far from Granada, where the rustic chalets perfectly integrate into the middle of a jungle. Everything is eco-friendly yet luxurious: from the chlorine-free pool, the electricity from solar panels, and fans in the rooms.

Managua Airport is about one hour away. Head to the Asese Harbor, where you will take a boat to the island in about fifteen minutes.

The open-air restaurant is in the heart of the complex and spoils its guests with exquisite dishes from fresh ingredients. Watch the chef prepare your meal while you enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. The nine casitas spread across the small private island, providing an authentic experience. You can admire the beautiful nature and lake from your private terrace. All casitas come individually furnished and idyllically embedded in the surrounding landscape. A large bedroom with a comfortable king-size bed and a cozy living area invites you to relax. Amenities also include a shower or bath, toilet, mosquito net, hammocks, and ceiling fan.

The yoga platform offers yoga classes every morning. Discover your inner peace while overlooking the lake.

In the small spa area, choose your favorite treatment and escape to this little oasis of peace and relaxation. The two treatment rooms also boast tranquil views of the lake.
