Africa

  1. Botswana

In a private concession area, the luxurious lodge is in the northwestern Okavango Delta on the forested Xugana Island. Ebony and tree figs surround the luxury lodge, making it one of the most spectacular accommodations in the Okavango Delta.

It is a water paradise that you can only reach by boat. What’s on the schedule for today? You can look forward to exciting hiking and boat safaris along the canals. It is 30 minutes away from Maun Airport to the local airstrip. From Kasane, it is an 80-minute flight.

You’ll find a cozy lounge, a bar, a dining room, and a souvenir shop in the main building. The outdoor pool nestles in the middle of the lush garden and is a great place to relax after an exciting safari. The varied landscape of grassy plains, lagoons, and waterways is ideal for birdwatching and fishing.

You can enjoy a delicious African dinner at the open-air Boma restaurant if the weather permits. As you soak in views of the Okavango Delta, indulge yourself with delicious food and an impressive sunset.

On an exciting mokoro ride through the narrow water channels of the Okavango Delta, immerse yourself in the unique bird and water world, and get up to the majestic hippos. You can also book walk safaris with local, experienced guides who will tell you everything you need to know about the local flora and fauna. With a bit of luck, you will even meet the legendary Big Five — an experience that you’ll remember forever.

All eight thatched chalets are on wooden platforms under shady trees on the lagoon’s edge. They each feature two beds, a private bathroom with a shower, a ceiling fan, a mosquito net, and a private veranda overlooking the lagoon and island shore. Are you ready to enjoy this feel-good atmosphere?
