Jazz evening in Cape Town

The excursion begins with you being picked up from the starting point in Cape Town around 7 p.m.

Cape Town's reputation as a bustling art hub precedes it. People know it as the most creative city in South Africa. The cityscape is deeply inspired by and respectful of its natural wonders. But you will also see that Cape Town's contours tell the story of a fascinating past, shaped by a diversity of eclectic cultures.

To transport you to Cape Town's authentic jazz world, we will go straight to the experts. Local jazz musicians (composers or performers of all ages) will open their homes for you.

The evening will consist of two parts.

You will start by visiting the first musician's home for a delightful combo of dinner, conversation, and, of course, music. This is an exclusive opportunity to glimpse into the life of Cape Towners.

After, you can either move on to the house of musician n. 2 for a nightcap, or wrap up the evening at a jazz club.

This experience is a one-of-a-kind chance for music lovers to get to know real Cape Town musicians, away from the stages and the spotlights. Your warm and talented hosts will teach you about what local life in Cape Town is like, through one of the city's best modes of expression: music.

The tour ends around 11:30 p.m. at your hotel.
