On this tour, you will discover the oldest temple in the city, Wat Chiang Man! It's known for its unique stupa (or chedi) because a series of giant pillars support it. From here, you will continue to Wat Phrasing and the beautiful Lai Kham Chapel - where you will see exquisite wood carvings and Nordic murals.
The Wat Chedi Luang stands out because of its impressive stupa that was partially destroyed by a massive earthquake in 1545. During the 14th-century in Thailand, the monarchy always took walks in the temple's garden. Today, it is home to numerous white chedis, where the ashes of the former royal family of Chiang Mai can be found. You can also see one of the most famous monastic schools of Chiang Mai here.
