Charge your camera, pack enough water, and get ready for your exciting city tour! Drive through the historic areas of Chiang Mai: past historic city walls, city gates, and moats. Then drive through the busy streets of Chiang Mai.
Visit the hustle and bustle of the local market, where all sorts of exotic vegetables and fruits are sold. Around the corner are numerous consulates and government buildings, as well as the Tapae Gate (the former city gate). Here you will find a colorful mix of cultures, buildings, and architecture that shape the city. In the holiest temple of Northern Thailand, Wat Phrathat Dio Suthep, you will find sacred relics of Buddhist history. Built by King Gue-Na in 1383, this temple is about 1,000 meters above sea level and offers an unforgettable panoramic view of the beautiful city. The 300 level climb is worth it for the fantastic view!
After visiting the temple, drive to the Meo Pui Village, where the community of the Meo Hill Tribe will warmly greet you. Experience their culture first-hand and discover colorful traditions.
