Your half-day excursion starts at about 09:30 with a bus transfer from the hotel to the Vallee de Mai Nature Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The extraordinary area, also known as "Garden of Eden", is also the home of the famous Coco de Mer palm tree, which grows naturally only in the Seychelles. One of the rarest birds in the world, the black parrot, also calls the reserve home.
