Today’s destination is at a breathtaking height of 1050 meters above sea level and around 75 kilometers from Makassar. Malino is a mountain resort that was once a weekend destination for the colonial Dutch, and today attracts many tourists for its tropical plants. Visit the spectacular Takapala Waterfall, which plunges around 100 meters in front of the panorama of beautiful rice fields. Listen to the water masses crash and have your camera ready for fantastic photo opportunities.

At lunchtime, you’ll receive a traditional lunch at a local restaurant.
