When you arrive in Marrakech, you’ll already experience the warmth of Moroccan culture. Your guide will warmly greet you and take you to your first hotel, which is only a 20-minute drive from the city center. Thanks to its location, you can walk to the royal palace and the popular Djemaa El Fna, the central marketplace. Immerse yourself in a world of exotic smells and discover the many goods that are sold here. Use the rest of the day to get first impressions of Marrakech while strolling through the winding streets.

Around 20:30, you will attend an oriental dinner at Le Lotus Privilège, which will offer you exciting insights into the locals’ life — an experience similar to that in 1001 Nights.

1 night in Marrakech, Morocco

Today it’s worth it to get up early because, at 05:30, your guide will drive you into the desert in a four-wheel-drive vehicle. Then just before the sun rises, you’ll experience an unforgettable excursion in a hot air balloon. Hop into the basket under the giant balloon and gently lift off the ground between the palm groves. The Moroccan sky promises magical moments and unique impressions. Fly over the city for about an hour and enjoy a bird’s eye view of the palm gardens and numerous small villages.

Your next stop is Berber Camp, where you’ll enjoy a traditional lunch at 13:30. Soak in the calm atmosphere before your ultimate nomadic experience at 17:00.

In the distance, you might already spot the gentle animals. With their humps and long eyelashes, camels are most at home in the desert. Hop onto a well-saddled camel and experience the desert like the nomads. For the next hour, gently trot through the seemingly endless dune landscapes.

Today you’ll end with another highlight when you arrive at La Pause desert camp: an open-air dining experience in the desert.

1 night in Agafay Desert, Morocco

After breakfast in the middle of the desert, your guide will pick you up and drive you to Marrakech. Start the day relaxed with a 45-minute hammam treatment at La Sultana Marrakech. A lush peeling therapy and massage also follow it.

On the way to Essaouira, you will stop at Val d’Argan, one of the southernmost wine regions in the country. Learn about Morocco’s long wine history when visiting the 35 hectares Val d’Argan, one of the smallest wine regions. Nevertheless, they produce up to 100,000 bottles every year. It’s the only wine-growing region in Morocco where they plant grapes from the Rhône Valley. Enjoy a delicious lunch complemented with views from the terrace. After learning how they collect olives and argan for organic oil, your driver will take you to the next destination.

Once in Essaouira, discover the city’s art gallery and medina. Medina is the city’s old town and remains true to its charm, winding streets, and harbor. When visiting the art gallery, immerse yourself in the oriental art world and gain new insights into the culture.

1 night in Essaouira, Morocco

In the morning, enjoy a replenishing breakfast before arriving at the city’s harbor at 09:00. First, you’ll experience Sidi Kaouki Beach’s fine sand shores and pleasant waves. These conditions regularly attract water sports enthusiasts because of their many adventurous activities. Your surf instructor will welcome you around 10:30, and together, you’ll spend half the day learning how to surf.

After your active day, relax in the evening and learn about traditional craft life from the locals. Choose between a course that brings you closer to how the traditional pottery is after Safi production, or another option is learning the production process of argan oil. There’s also the option to learn about the production of goat meat and milk.

1 night in Essaouira, Morocco

Around 08:00, your driver will pick you up and take you on another exciting journey with many new insights. First, you’ll arrive at the Majorelle and Menara secret gardens of Marrakech. The Jardin Majorelle, owned by the French fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent, is home to plants from all five continents, mainly cacti and bougainvillea. The Menara Garden also offers a small oasis on its 100 hectares and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Afterward, discover the beautiful Marrakech medina’s surrounding souks and craft districts. A highlight is the famous Djemaa El Fna, the heart of Marrakech. Experience the Orient up-close — meet snake charmers who lure their cobras with a flute and medicine men who advertise medicinal products.

Another exciting experience to look forward to is the Tasting Tour through the Djemaa El Fna with your guide. Discover Morocco with all of your senses when you taste and smell the exotic cuisine’s spices and aromas complemented with oriental sounds.

The next part of your adventure will take you out of the city and into the Atlas Mountains. Toubkal is one of the most majestic mountains in North Africa, with a breathtaking panorama, traditional Berber culture, and hidden treasures.

After breakfast, your driver will pick you up and take you back to Marrakech.

Today is all about relaxation after a heavy few days of adventure. A hammam experience awaits you at La Sultana Marrakech! For the next 45 minutes, immerse yourself in Moroccan life and recharge your batteries with selected massages and treatments. They use high-quality Moroccan products known worldwide, only selecting organic aromatherapy and cosmetic products.

Lean back and let the scrub and massage treatments pamper you. You can choose between ylang-ylang, Verbena, orange blossom, or argan oil.

After the relaxing morning, it’s up to you how you plan the rest of the day. Marrakech has many hidden corners to discover still, and the hotel also offers beautiful retreats.
