You would like to use your stay in Indonesia to get to know the country, its people and culture better? Come with us on this excursion, which will introduce you to the culture of the Sasak people, lead you to Hindu temples and end with a relaxing stay on the beach on the paradise island of Gili Nanggu - a wonderfully relaxed day out.
In the morning, you will be picked up by your guide for the day and leave directly. Do you have everything with you? Something to drink, sunscreen, sunglasses, headgear against the sun, and your camera? Then you are ready to start. The drive takes you first to the local Sasak, a people that has maintained and passed on its culture and traditions over several centuries. After a short stopover at a typical market in Kediri, you will reach Banyumulek, where you will get an exciting insight into the traditional production of pottery - a true experience.
The tour continues to the holy Mount Pengsong and the Hindu temple on top of it. You have to climb some steps to reach the old temple. But the journey there is worth it, because hundreds of holy monkeys inhabit this temple.
The last part of the tour is also the highlight of the day. You will sail from Lebar in a traditional motorized outrigger canoe, a canoe with two crossbeams, to which outriggers are connected, for 30 minutes across the sea until you reach the small uninhabited dream island of Gili Nanggu. Enjoy the pleasant wind and the beautiful view of the coast of Lombok on the way. Fine sandy beach, palm trees, and the flair of the uninhabited island invite you to relax and unwind and are the reason why the island is often called "paradise island". Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure with snorkeling, sunbathing, and swimming.
Duration of the trip: All day
