Get out on the water and experience pure adrenaline! On this Sacred Valley rafting tour, you will encounter wild class II and III rapids, gripping waves, and small eddies.

Today’s experience begins with the transfer from your hotel in Cusco to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Once you arrive in Pachar, you will receive your rafting equipment and learn safety precautions from your professional guide.

After getting acclimatized with the shallow water, you will finally set off: you will paddle onto the calm water and enjoy a magnificent view of the mountains and nearby ruins. You will then head towards Ollantaytambo, where you will face wild class II and III rapids. But that’s not all! Look forward to your encounter with El Resbaladero, also known as “the slide”, where thrilling class III rapids, adventurous waves, and small eddies await you - pure adrenaline!

Back on land, you will enjoy a fresh lunch with local specialities before being transferred back to your hotel in Cusco.

  • Level: Class II - III Rapids (This category is great for those who are venturing onto the river for the first time in an inflatable boat. It promises some adrenaline and thrills, but is safe - though one or two participants may end up in the water).
  • Duration: 1:30 hours on the river
  • The price does not apply to international holidays (Christmas, Easter, New Year, 1 May - Labour Day) as well as Peruvian holidays, such as Inti Raymi (approx. 20 to 28 June), national holidays (Fiestas Patrias 28/29 July), conferences, and major events.
