A wooden platform provides access to the capsule.

Transfer from/to Cusco to the unique Skylodge at the foot of the Urubamba River
Are you up for one of the most exciting adventures Peru has to offer? Then spend the night in the Skylodge and sleep in a transparent capsule hanging from a mountain. The journey there is a once in a lifetime experience in itself. Climb up the steep walls of the cliff in the Urubamba Valley and zipline back down to the Sacred Valley of the Incas the next morning.
Our travel module includes everything you need for an amazing experience. Our local colleagues will pick you up in Cusco around 2 p.m. and take you in a van or minibus to the Pachar station (around 3:30 p.m.) at the foot of the cliff where the Skylodge is located.
In the Skylodge, everything is different. There are no ordinary stairs or even an elevator leading to your room. You will climb up a rock (5-6 p.m.) to get to your accommodation. Of course you will be informed in advance about the safety conditions (3:30 p.m. - 4 p.m.). Your physical effort will be rewarded when you find yourself about 400 meters above the ground: Look forward to not just a unique view over the Urubamaba Valley, which will leave you in awe, but also a unique room. Totally transparent and looking into the abyss with the Rio Urubamba under your feet, your pod is an experience unlike any other. Even a toilet can be found in the capsule - don't worry, here you can draw the curtains for a bit of privacy. Back in the bedroom, we recommend leaving the curtains open, because who wants to escape such a stunning view? You'll have a limitless view of the starry night sky here. If at some point, despite the incredibly beautiful view, you can sleep, a comfortable and high-quality mattress, soft bedding and down pillows and quilts will ensure a warm and pleasant night's rest. There is hardly any accommodation more beautiful, romantic and, above all, extraordinary.
In the evening (at 8 p.m.) an excellent gourmet dinner awaits you, which you can enjoy in your glass suite.
Time spent traveling from Cusco to the Skylodge: approx. 67 km / approx. 1.5 hours
1 night in a Skylodge Adventure Suite with dinner and breakfast in a glass capsule, Valle Sagrado, Peru
At 8 a.m., you will be woken up with a coffee or mate drink. Breakfast is served around 9 a.m. either indoors or on a wooden platform, directly above the capsule - a fantastic sunrise included here of course. Enjoy a free view from all sides! After breakfast, between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., "fly" back down to the Sacred Valley via the 2800-meter-long zipline, which comprises 6 stages, each one approx. 150 to 600 meters long.
Once at the bottom, you will say goodbye to the crew and be transported back to your hotel in Cusco by van or minibus between 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. (arriving in Cusco around 2 p.m.). Of course you can spend a longer stay at the Skylodge.
