Animals, nature & fun: Family trip on Mauritius

A driver will pick you and your children up at the hotel and take you to your first destination, the seven-colored earth in Chamarel. It shimmers. Seven different colors glimmer on the ground, the result of a unique geological phenomenon of volcanic activity. From the viewing platform you can take great pictures before you continue to the 83 meter (or approx. 272 ft) high waterfall. From far away you can hear the sound of the water. When you get closer, you can see how the water plunges into the depths amidst the lush vegetation. This waterfall is one of the most famous natural beauties of the island for a reason.

Another highlight of your trip will be the Curious Corner, an amusement park where, as the name suggests, you will experience illusions and curiosities. Find your way out of a labyrinth with 200 mirrors and let yourself be hung from the ceiling like a spider in the Upside Down Room - great fun for the whole family. A delicious lunch will be served later at Casela Nature & Leisure Park. Besides burgers, your children can choose between pasta and pizza. Afterwards, numerous activities await you in the 14 hectare park. 1500 birds are at home here and on a safari you can admire zebras, antelopes, ostriches, and kudus. You can even see lions and giraffes at the Casela Nature & Leisure. You can also enjoy quad biking, buggies, Segways, and ziplining for a fee.
