The charming Victoria Falls Lodge is most famous for its hospitality and exquisite dining options. The elevated location on a plateau also allows for sweeping romantic sunset views. Victoria Falls is located 4 km away. It is 24 km to the airport. At noon, vultures are fed at the lodge. A unique experience where you can observe the scavengers up close. In the area, the vultures are threatened, so that one reaches under the arms, respectively wings, and so takes care of the population.
The lodge is mainly made of wood and thatch. In the interior design, great emphasis has been placed on African style. Accordingly, the areas of the hotel are decorated and adorned in a manner typical of the country. Experience a piece of African history and culture in every corner of the house. A waterhole below the lodge attracts numerous animals every day. Elephants, buffalo, kudu, impala and other two- and four-legged creatures cavort here, especially in the dry season, to quench their thirst. The Buffalo Bar and the Makuwa Restaurant offer a multiple award-winning cuisine. In the evening, you have the choice between à la carte and menu. The public areas are connected to the dining rooms by stairs.
The lodge's wide range of activities includes bush walks, game drives in the national park, walking safaris and other excursions on land and water.
The 72 rooms are spread over a total of 6 buildings, each with two floors. The curved layout of the houses offers an unobstructed view of the waterhole. There are three room categories, in total: Standard Room, Deluxe Room and King Suite.
All rooms offer numerous amenities to make your stay as cozy and comfortable as you can imagine. Air conditioning ensures the perfect temperature in your room. All rooms have been built from natural materials and decorated with African art. Wi-Fi is available free of charge. Vibrant interior colors add African touches.
Massages as well as other wellness treatments can be used in the spa area opposite the main building. The pool and sun loungers are also ideal for relaxing.
