Destination

Indian Ocean / Africa

Mombasa - Tsavo East National Park - Tsavo West National Park - Amboseli National Park - Lake Naivasha - Masai Mara - Mauritius

The best time to travel to Kenya is the dry season: From December to February, temperatures are pleasantly warm and there is hardly any rain. Due to the lack of water, animals rarely move away from the remaining waterholes; animal observations are more possible. The months from August to October are also popular - it’s when the natural spectacle of the world-famous animal migration in the Masai Mara takes place.

Best time to visit Mauritius: Between May and October you will find the best conditions for a vacation on the north coast of the island - pleasant temperatures, lower number of rainy days and minimal humidity compared to the other months are the main reasons for this. The maximum temperatures range from 25 to 30 degrees during the day, although it can cool down to a pleasant 17 and 21 degrees during the nights. Cyclones visit the island from time to time during the months of January to April.

Although the tropical winter is considered the best time to travel, Mauritius also provides a perfect vacation experience at any other time of the year.

After your long-haul flight, it's finally time to hear the words "welcome to Kenya". Filled with adventure safaris, the Big 5, vast savannahs, dramatic mountain ranges, and the Masai Mara, Kenya is a diverse country. Discover the highlights in the coming week. After landing, a transfer will take you from the airport to your first accommodation in Mombasa.

At the beginning of your trip, two relaxing days by the sea await you where you can enjoy the warm breeze of the Indian Ocean and enjoy Kenyan hospitality.
