This luxury resort is located on a group of islands off the northwest coast of Malaysia, in the middle of the rainforest on a paradisiacal bay. The spacious rooms, some with private pools, have been perfectly integrated into the natural surroundings. The luxurious The Datai Langkawi offers you a diverse culinary experience in four restaurants. The Dining Room is open all day and welcomes you in the morning with an extensive buffet breakfast. Between 12:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., you can order a light lunch here, and in the evening you will be served first-class candlelit meals.
Built on 30-meter stilts overlooking the rainforest, The Pavilion entices with views of the Andaman Sea and traditional Thai dishes. Fresh local cuisine can be enjoyed at the renowned The Gulai House restaurant, while The Beach Club & Bar boasts oven-fresh pizzas and grilled fish dishes. Ideal for relaxing is the cozy The Lobby Lounge: with a cool drink in hand, here you can look out over the sea and see Tarutao Island. Light snacks, cocktails, and wine and champagne are also available.
In addition to three outdoor pools, including one for adults aged 16 and older, the resort offers a Nature Center that houses a cozy library, a tea lounge and an aquarium.
The luxury resort has 121 rooms, suites, and villas that offer magnificent views of the lush green rainforest, treetops, or the sea. Amenities include a king-size bed or twin beds, a desk, a day bed, a complimentary minibar with non-alcoholic beverages, a safe, and coffee and tea facilities. These rooms with large dining and living areas await you right on the snow-white sandy beach of Datai Bay and impress with their own pool and private bar. In addition, guests in this room category receive complimentary airport transfers, afternoon tea and à la carte breakfast at The Beach Club.
- One-Bedroom Beach Villa - approximately 350 square feet, with a spacious en suite bathroom, a freestanding bathtub and rain shower. The open-plan living area features picture windows and invites you to linger with its various seating options. You will also find a walk-in closet in this villa. Maximum 3 adults.
