Khao Yai National Park Tour - With a private guide

Khao Yai region is in southeast Thailand and is known for its pleasant climate. In contrast to the hot temperatures in Bangkok and the surrounding coastal areas, the park's average is 70°F and can reach as high as 95°F in March and April. In the rainy season between May and October, incredible amounts of water plunge into the depths.

In the morning, you will begin your journey to the Khao Yai. On the way, stop at Farm Camp Chockchai, where visitors learn to live in harmony with nature. It's a great family activity because it promises lots of fun and a delightful change from the fast-paced everyday life.

After the visit, enjoy a replenishing lunch in the restaurant, Chocolate Factory Khao Yai. Stroll through the nearby art museum and take your children to the leafy Pete's Maze.

In the late afternoon, continue the drive into the middle of the mountains. Pass the endless rice fields and witness the unique phenomenon where thousands of bats wake up and fly out of their caves over these areas to look for food.

Finally, you will arrive at your hotel and then enjoy a delicious dinner from the staff.

Eat a tasty breakfast, then drive to Khao Yai National Park. When you arrive, you will have to hike about two miles to the Nong Phug She observation tower. It lies directly on the lake of the same name and is the primary source of water for a large part of the animal world. With a little luck, you will see wild elephants and other animals.

Continue to one of the park’s most famous landmarks: Haew Suwat Waterfall. Does the landscape look familiar? How about a hint: Leonardo Di Caprio had to jump down from this waterfall in the film The Beach to discover paradise.

At lunchtime, we will prepare a picnic for you in the park. And before you know it, it’s already time to head back to the hotel. You can choose what to do for the rest of the afternoon.

Optionally, you can visit the Thong Somboon Club: a large adventure park near Khao Yai National Park. It offers a range of fun activities for young and old! You pay for the entrance tickets when you arrive.

In the evening, you also have the option to book a night safari through the national park! When it gets dark, nocturnal animals, such as sambar deer, Sunda porcupines, small Indian civets, tigers, and bears, roam the grounds. In a jeep equipped with headlights, you will drive through the park with a ranger.

Your stay in the idyllic nature of the national park is slowly coming to an end. After breakfast, check out and then make your way back to Bangkok.
