Meditate in the shadow of southeast Asia’s largest Buddha statue
Immerse yourself in Thai Buddhism and explore the many facets of the country’s religion.
Together with your guide, you will visit Wat Luang Pu Supha, one of the holiest sites in the region. A master of meditation founded the site, making it the perfect place to learn more about the basics and techniques of spiritual practice.
Afterward, you will go to Wat Chalong Monastery, where monks accompany you in their daily rituals. Gain a deeper insight into the life of Buddhists and their beliefs.
Use your newly acquired knowledge at the Phra Phuttha Mingmongkol Eaknakakeeree. You will probably not remember the name, but you will remember the Buddha statue that lives here. It is the largest of its kind in all of Southeast Asia! You will have the opportunity to practice meditation in a quiet corner — calm your mind and soul as the temple bells ring overhead.
