You can easily book optional excursions
Handpicked accommodations in every price category
End the roundtrip with a beach vacation at a dream destination of your choice
You can adjust the duration and course of the trip to your desires
During our exclusive round trip, you get to decide which excursions to book with your private guide and on which days you would like to discover the land of smiles on your own! The itinerary proposed by our experts provides three nights in Bangkok and Chiang Mai before the tour takes you to the dream beach of your choice in southern Thailand.
The best times to travel through Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and southern Thailand are during the dry season between December and March. During this time, there’s little precipitation, and temperatures are between 30° and 35°C.
Heavy rainfall occurs between May and October.
“Sawasdee,” and welcome to the land of smiles. As part of our VIP Meet & Greet program, your guide will greet you as soon as you get off the plane, helping you go through the entry process without waiting. Enjoy the comfortable private transfer to your booked hotel in Bangkok for the next three nights.
The capital of Thailand is one of the most visited travel destinations in the world. It sticks by its motto, “Everything can, nothing must,” which you will feel as you explore the wonderful country. You can choose between countless cultural highlights such as museums, historical buildings and temples, exotic street food, modern shopping malls, and traditional markets. Even everyday life in the small alleys is an experience in itself.
After recovering from your flight, jump into the hotel’s refreshing pool for an extra cleanse. We recommend a dinner cruise on the Chao Phraya River in the evening, which meanders through the metropolis and defines the cityscape.
Spend an evening on a boat tour with dinner and get to know a unique side of Bangkok. On our Manohra Dinner Cruise on the Chao Phraya River, the striking sights and the hustle and bustle of the big city slowly glide past while you enjoy Thai cuisine in an intimate atmosphere.
The 50-year-old rice ship, Manohra, converted into a dinner and cocktail cruise, restoring it with the highest standards. The boat has a maximum of 40 guests to ensure an intimate experience. The two-hour tour with an à la carte menu and free soft drinks begins at the Anantara Bangkok Riverside Resort & Spa.
If you prefer to spend the first evening in Bangkok without a fixed program, we recommend that you book this tour as a conclusion to your last evening in Bangkok.
Travel time airport Bangkok - Hotel Bangkok: approx. 30 - 50 minutes / approx. 38 km
3 nights with breakfast in Bangkok
Well rested and strengthened from the rich breakfast, you’ll set off today to explore the fantastic city. We recommend a morning tour of the khlongs, the city’s small water canals.
Optional:
With a private longtail boat, explore the metropolis’ khlongs. Bangkok residents use these waterways to get to work or host local markets. There’s no trace of the hustle and bustle of the city as you glide down the canal.
Leisurely pass commercial buildings, temples, and dwellings and notice the architectural styles that pattern the city. At noon, you’ll head back to the city center. You’ll stop at Wat Arun, the “Temple of Dawn,” before returning to the hotel.
For those visiting Bangkok for the first time, we recommend our Bangkok City Temple Tour in the afternoon.
Optional:
With your guide, visit three of the most impressive temples in Bangkok: the Golden Buddha Temple, Wat Traimit, the Reclining Buddha Temple, Wat Pho, and the marble temple Wat Benchamabophit. At the end of the tour, take a ride through the busy streets of Chinatown.
Another eventful day in Bangkok awaits you. If you haven’t planned something yet, we can recommend two adventures.
For those interested in history and culture, we recommend a day trip to the old capital Ayutthaya.
Optional:
Explore Thailand’s ancient capital and cultural center on a day trip. In addition to visiting the most imposing temples, visit the lively market and stroll through the city’s Muslim quarter. Try the local delicacy “Roti Sai Mai,” a type of Thai cotton candy influenced by the Indian “Roti” pancake.
After lunch at a local restaurant, embark on a leisurely longtail boat waterway tour of Ayutthaya Island. Your last stop is the summer palace Bang-Pa-In of King Rama IV. The charming mix of Thai, Chinese and Gothic architecture will inspire you.
The round trip is by private car transfer. On request, we can also organize the transfers with a train ride that takes you through green landscapes and lush rice fields.
If you are keen to experiment and try something new, we recommend our Muay Thai Masterclass private lessons.
Optional:
Surely you’ve heard of Muay Thai Boxing. It’s considered an integral part of Thai culture. How about a personal introduction to this traditional art of Thai fighting?
In the Rangsit Boxing Stadium, one of the most famous stadiums in town, you’ll learn the theory and practice of Thai boxing. Professional fighters will guide you through the two-hour class.
After a strengthening lunch, you’ll drive back to the city center. You’ll get to keep the traditional Muay Thai equipment as a souvenir: shorts, hand wraps, and a t-shirt.
Today you will say goodbye to Bangkok and head to the airport for your flight to Chiang Mai. When you arrive in the country’s north, a guide will greet you and take you to your booked hotel.
Chiang Mai is the oasis of the north. It’s the country’s cultural center because of its numerous temples, river landscapes, green meadows, dense forests, and extensive mountain ranges.
We recommend our Chiang Mai temple tour in the afternoon, including a drive to Doi Suthep.
Optional:
Immerse yourself in the culture and history of Chiang Mai during this fascinating tour. Your tour begins with a visit to the Tapae Gate, the main entrance to the ancient city walls, where you’ll learn about the city’s rich past. Your guide will then take you to the old town where you’ll explore its most famous temples on a tuk-tuk. As your mode of transport takes you up a hill, you’ll end the tour at Doi Suthep. You’ll visit the holiest temple in northern Thailand, Wat Phra That Doi Suthep.
Travel time from Chiang Mai Airport to Hotel Chiang Mai: approx. 15 minutes / approx. 6 km
3 nights with breakfast in Chiang Mai
Wake up in the beautiful nature of Chiang Mai! Enjoy the fresh morning air of the north with a delicious breakfast. Today, we recommend a visit to our Elephant Care Program.
Optional:
Have you ever wondered how Thailand’s elephants live the last days of their lives? At our Elephant Care Program, the caretakers will offer you a unique insight into the life of these gentle giants.
Spend half a day away with the senior elephants in their natural environment. Depending on the animals’ mood, you can observe their feeding, caring, and playing interactions with the keepers and other elephants. There’s no fixed program as the situation adapts to the mood and current condition of the animals.
Another exciting day in Chiang Mai awaits you. We recommend an e-bike tour through Chiang Mai’s rural surroundings in the morning or afternoon.
Optional:
On our Chiang Mai countryside e-bike tour, you will embark on a group trip off the beaten track. Discover the hidden charms and enchanting landscapes on a 25-kilometer tour. Thanks to the e-bike, you’ll never be out of breath! As unique scents fill your nostrils, you’ll pass the landscaped rice fields and fruity orchards of the countryside. With some luck, you’ll see water buffalo plowing the fields and transporting the harvest. Enjoy a traditional lunch or dinner in a small village before returning to Chiang Mai.
Pack your bags and hop on a plane to your next destination in southern Thailand. You will spend the next few days under palm trees on the dream beaches of your choice.
Travel time from Hotel Chiang Mai to Chiang Mai Airport: approx. 15 minutes / approx. 6 km
Flight time Chiang Mai - Phuket: approx. 1 hour
Travel time from Phuket Airport - Koh Yao Noi
7 nights with breakfast on Koh Yao Noi
Spend the next few days relaxing in southern Thailand after an adventurous week. Enjoy the fine sandy beach under your feet and review the experiences of the last few days.
