Description
Spend an unforgettable evening full of sports and culture amid the locals with a lively Muay Thai fight in Bangkok's famous Rajdamnoen Stadium.
Even before the first of several fights, you’ll get to enjoy a captivating atmosphere in the stadium. Listen to traditional live music as the hall slowly fills up. Your guide will provide you with background information about the sport that originated in the 16th century and the rules of the competition.
Then the fighting begins! Watch the boxers go through an elaborate pre-fight ritual. The combination of slow dance steps and prayer is called “Wai Kru” and is supposed to pay homage to the boxing teachers and bless the fighters.
During the evening, you’ll see several fights and cheer for your favorite boxers with the locals. After the final battle and an eventful evening, your guide will take you back to your hotel in Bangkok.
