Royalton Hicacos

The adults-only Royalton Hicacos Resort & Spa is located on a paradisiacal stretch of beach in Varadero on the north coast of Cuba. The white sandy beach here stretches for more than 20 kilometers along the sea, and the azure waters convey a pure Caribbean feeling. Colorful houses, three swimming pools and a lush garden landscape with numerous river courses also create a pleasant atmosphere on the hotel grounds.It is about 14 km to the city center of Varadero. The Varahicacos Ecological Reserve is nearby and guarantees a change of scenery. The airport is 45 minutes away.

The Caribbean architecture of the hotel lets you dive directly into Cuban life. Night owls can enjoy a night club and a total of four bars on the hotel grounds. Live music with local bands also provides Cuban entertainment.

Internet access is available in the public areas for a fee.

All the 404 rooms have a bathroom, air conditioning, king-size bed, and minibar and safe. Extras such as TV, tea and coffee maker and a telephone ensure a carefree stay.

Junior Suite - 51-60 m². The suites have a garden view, a combined living room and bedroom, a sitting area and a bathroom with bathtub, bathrobe, hairdryer, air conditioning and fan. In the living room there is a minibar, safe, ironing board, iron, a TV satellite, radio, telephone, kettle and a coffee/tea facility. Depending on the floor, the suites have a balcony or terrace. Diamond Club Junior Suites - 52 m². The suites have a garden view and a bathroom with a bathtub, bathrobe and hairdryer. An air conditioner, fan, minibar with regular refills, a safe, an ironing board with iron, a TV, telephone and kettle are also provided in the room. Depending on the floor, there is a balcony or terrace. A special feature of this room category is a separate check-in & check-out service. Maximum 2 adults.

Gastronomic facilities include four à la carte restaurants and one buffet restaurant. Caribbean and Italian dishes are served, as well as seafood. Refreshing drinks are available at the swim-up bar. The main Plaza Hicacos restaurant serves international, Asian, Italian, Mexican, regional, Spanish cuisine. Also, there is occasional show cooking in the evening.

The specialty restaurant Las Morlas specializes in à la carte meals and seafood dishes. Please note that reservations are required here.

The specialty restaurant El Caribe serves international dishes on an à la carte basis. Again, you should make a reservation in advance.

In the specialty restaurant Grazie, you will be spoiled with Italian à la carte dishes. Please make a reservation in advance here as well.

The specialty restaurant El viejo y el mar focuses on Mexican cuisine. The à la carte menu offers numerous choices. You can reserve a table on the beach or on the terrace.

A total of three outdoor pools are at your disposal. Sports and fitness enthusiasts can also choose from a wide range of activities, such as tennis or beach volleyball. Water sports such as aqua fitness, pedal boating, sailing, snorkeling and kayaking are also offered. Likewise, transfers can be arranged to an 18-hole golf course in the hotel's vicinity. Indoor facilities include a gym, ping-pong tables and squash courts. Yoga classes are part of the regular offerings.

A whirlpool in the pool area provides relaxation. Guests can also take advantage of various wellness services, such as a spa, sauna, steam bath, beauty salon and massage treatments.
