Diving trip to Maldives - the most beautiful diving spots

For a long time, Adaaran Select Meedhupparu was the only hotel in the northern Raa Atoll. It’s the perfect spot for diving year-round because of the well-preserved reefs that surround the resort. You’ll have the opportunity to encounter large schools of fish, soft corals, and manta rays! The Thilas, as the Maldivians call reefs with powerful currents, are home to stingrays, reef sharks, Napoleon fish, and many more. The multi-faceted underwater landscape is an exciting challenge even for advanced divers, thanks to steep walls, overhangs, and caves. The species-rich house reef extends around the island from a depth of five to 22 meters and is ideal for early morning or night dives and snorkeling.

The modern villas offer a lot of comforts and either nestle amongst the lush green vegetation or are built on stilts over the water. The extensive all-inclusive concept and the large program of activities complete the offer.

Thanks to its location in the Gaafu Atoll, a little away from the well-known Male, Ari, and Baa Atolls, there are still pristine diving spots around the hotel island AYADA Maldives. As you adventure in the underwater world, discover small fish species, eagle rays, turtles, and dolphins. The other diving spots are between 15 and 50 minutes away, and you can access them several times a day with the classic dhoni. Depending on the diving spot, there are different difficulty levels and various sea creatures; for example, tropical fish, turtles, sharks, mackerel, groupers, snapper, schools of fusiliers, and seasonal manta rays.

Maguhdhuvaa is an island 30 kilometers from the equator, which you can reach by boat or a domestic flight in about two hours. The 122 villas are partly built on the beach, partly over the water in the lagoon. From your water villa, you can observe the small schools of fish and even manta rays and turtles with a bit of luck. There are six restaurants and bars, and guests can choose from various catering packages from breakfast to premium all-inclusive. Thanks to the wide range of activities and the excellent spa area, there are plenty of opportunities to do sports or relax between dives.
