This round trip goes through three countries of southern Africa: Namibia, Botswana, and Zimbabwe. Enjoy unforgettable insights into the culture, flora, and fauna of this beautiful piece of earth. You will begin in the endless expanse of Namibia, which stands in contrast to the evergreen Okavango Delta, then off to the animal-rich Chobe National Park in Botswana. In the morning, you will land at the Windhoek International Airport. One of our employees from our partner agency will greet you at arrivals. They will assist you with your luggage and the car rental pick-up process.

Spend your first night in Windhoek at the charming Olive Grove Guesthouse. Numerous museums and galleries display exhibitions on the historical and geological history of the capital; for example, Wilhelminian buildings, modern art, charming street cafes, and beer gardens. With its 400,000 inhabitants, the city is the largest in the country and picturesquely situated in a valley—Relish views of the Eros Mountains in the east and the Auas ​​mountains in the south.

Today drive towards Grootfontein to Fiume Lodge.

Grootfontein, named after the nearby hot spring, is very green like all places in the fertile Otavi region. In the spring, the city presents itself in magnificent violet as the Jacaranda trees begin to bloom. On the Hoba Farm, you will find the largest meteorite in the world. It’s 3 meters long, 1 meter wide, weighs more than fifty tons, has a volume of 318 cubic feet, and arrived here about 80,000 years ago.

The 10,000-inhabitants city is the perfect starting point to reach the Caprivi Strip and Bushmanland.

Arrive at your campsite, Xaro Lodge, and experience exciting bird and fishing safaris. Birding is excellent in this region. Between vast, shady forests along the river, you can spot many local and migratory birds. Fishing trips take place on a motorboat, and an experienced guide will accompany you. The fish species you will find include catfish, bream, and tigerfish (these activities are optional).

Because of its abundance of water, you will discover a massive variety of animals. More than 500 bird species and 150 mammals, as well as an extensive flora, call this their home. After breakfast and check-out at your lodge, you will drive to Maun Airport. From here, your hopper flight will start to your accommodation at the Oddballs' Enclave Camp. Leave the car at the airport, because the next two days are all about the impressive Okavango Delta. A labyrinth of swamps, islands, waterways, and thousands of lagoons awaits you. Get ready to experience unforgettable safaris here!

A professional tour guide will take you on the activities offered at the Oddballs' Enclave Camp. The guides were born and raised in the area; therefore, they are the best companions. A trip in the Delta usually starts with the typical mokoro (canoe) and followed by a short exploration walk on one of the larger surrounding islands. Walking through the wilderness on foot is an outstanding part of the experience in every season. The duration of the hikes depends entirely on the taste of the guests. Some travelers stay out all day and take a packed picnic lunch. Depending on the water level, it's also possible to go camping. However, you must book this in advance.

Two nights at Oddballs' Enclave Camp with full board, activities, coffee, tea, snacks, laundry service, and hopper flight in a Dome Tent, Chief's Island, Botswana

Today you will fly with a hopper flight from Oddballs’ Enclave Camp to Kasane. A driver from Chobe Safari Lodge will pick you up and take you to your accommodation.

Chobe Safari Lodge is in Kasane, the northernmost city, just a few thousand feet from the gate of the national park on the quadrangle of Zimbabwe, Zambia, Namibia, and Botswana. Because of its proximity to the park, you can watch animals from your private balcony. Alone, 50,000 elephants live here in the park! The concentration of the game is immense, and it so happens that no other nature reserve in southern Africa has such a high wildlife population. Take an adventure on a river safari where you can observe animals along the Chobe! Hippos, buffaloes, warthogs, and antelopes are often spotted along the riverbanks. There are approximately 450 species of birds that will have anyone in awe!

With a road transfer to Kasane, you will cross the border and continue toward a road transfer to the magnificent waterfalls of Victoria Falls.

The imposing waterfalls are on the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. At a width of about 2 km, the mighty Zambezi River plunges nearly 120 meters into the depths. The divine and beautiful nature have a deep green rainforest that surrounds this unique natural spectacle. Travel to the south side of Victoria Falls to see the most beautiful view. Relish the stunning landscape and the refreshing spray from the majestic waterfalls.

Depending on your departure time, the road transfer will take you from your accommodation to Victoria Falls Airport. Olive Grove Guesthouse****, Windhoek, Namibia (1 night)

In a quiet area but close to the city center, the charming Olive Grove Guesthouse welcomes you. The eleven spacious rooms are stylishly furnished and have an en-suite bathroom, veranda, minibar, TV, and coffee/tea-making facilities. Enjoy a glass of wine in the cozy lobby while the chefs prepare a freshly cooked meal for you in the open kitchen. Relax in the garden's small pool and get a massage at the in-house spa area.

Fiume Lodge***, Grootfontein, Namibia (2 nights)

Fiume Lodge is just approx. 30 km north of Grootfontein. It's the ideal stopover for travelers heading north to Caprivi Strip, Botswana, and Victoria Falls. You can also easily access the land of the Bushmen, the Khaudom National Park, and Etosha. The lodge nestles on a 1,400-acre private game reserve populated by more than ten different big game species and many small mammals. Six chalets with air conditioning, bathroom, mosquito nets, and safes provide guests with comfortable accommodation. The chalets are built of stone, have a thatched roof and pinewood interior to provide a cozy "home away from home" atmosphere.

River Dance Lodge***, Divundu, Namibia (1 night)

The name River Dance comes from the story that the Okavango water "danced" over rocky banks - a wild and beautiful spectacle of nature. Tino and Karin Punzul manifested their African dream in Namibia and let their guests participate in it. The spacious, cleverly arranged cottages are far away from each other, providing enough privacy. The lodge will surprise its guests with high-quality construction, originality, and a great, luxurious design. The architecture consists of native wood and a lot of glass that stands in the middle of old trees. Everything seems to come from the hand of a star architect or a noble designer. But that's not the case: the owners only followed their ideas and tastes of materials, shapes, and colors.

Xaro Lodge, Shakawe, Botswana (2 nights)

Xaro Lodge is on a peninsula hidden under shady mangosteen, crocodile, and jackal berry trees. Hop on a 15-minute boat ride to the lodge. The camp offers eight spacious tents, including views of the main river, Okavango. Each tent comes equipped with a private deck, a separate shower, and a toilet.

Covered by a thatched roof, the lodge's main area consists of a dining and lounge area.

Thamalakane River Lodge***, Maun, Botswana (2 nights)

Thamalakane River Lodge is on the Thamalakane River, twelve miles outside of Maun on the Moremi Game Reserve road. The grass-covered, stone-built lodge nestles amidst tall riverside trees, providing guests with a sanctuary just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet close to the amenities of Maun. Guests can enjoy drinks and meals at the open restaurant bar and enjoy the spectacular sunset over the river. The complex is a natural bird paradise and invites you to relax by the pool and surrounding green areas. The lodge is within easy reach and provides the discerning traveler with a beautiful stopover or departure point for a safari adventure in the Okavango Delta.

Oddballs' Enclave Camp is on the edge of Chief's Island, deep in the heart of the Okavango Delta, offering an authentic traditional delta experience, especially for active travelers. Accommodating a maximum of ten guests in five Meru tents, each one is individually built on a wooden platform. The small and intimate hideaways offer spectacular views across the tidal flats, a rustic en-suite bathroom, and a shaded grass roof.

Chobe Safari Lodge****, Kasane, Botswana (2 nights)

Chobe Safari Lodge offers accommodation for all tastes - from luxury safari rooms to simple chalets to a campground. They all have access to the main lodge building.

Batonka Guest Lodge, Victoria Falls****, Zimbabwe (2 nights)

Your accommodation in Zimbabwe awaits you in a quiet residential area about 1.6 miles from Victoria Falls. You can reach the city center in just a 10-minute walk. The 22 rooms are comfortably furnished and have a private en-suite bathroom, TV, air conditioning, and coffee/tea facilities. Wi-Fi is available in all rooms free of charge. Enjoy a typical English breakfast in the hotel's restaurant. Of course, you can also have lunch and dinner here.

The lodge also offers an inviting terrace, a small souvenir shop, and a relaxing outdoor pool.
