PurePods was built from the ground up with sustainability in mind. Walk through the striking landscape and discover your PurePods suspended above the ferns and meadows. Surrounded by nothing but the many rare plants and animals, hills and lakes, this glass complex lies in perfect solitude. A guest book in your accommodation describes the many different plants and trees that surround you - which you have probably never seen before.

Explore your own secluded slice of Kiwi paradise, enjoy the chirping of the birds and experience unforgettable views of the starry night sky as you lie comfortably in your luxurious bed.

You will only find out exactly where the PurePods is located when you make your booking - you can be sure that no curious visitors will be there before you.

In your own little kingdom, you'll find everything you need. A local cookbook in the glass house will introduce you to local cuisine and show you how to create delicious dishes from local produce.

You can order your dinner when you make your reservation and experience culinary highlights during your stay. Dinner is prepared with fresh local ingredients and consists of a cheese plate, meats, preserves, fresh produce and dessert. For breakfast, you can expect fresh granola with local organic yogurt. Gluten-free and vegetarian alternatives are also available, of course.

During your stay, you can of course leave your secluded site to stock up on necessary supplies. However, many find it difficult as they do not want to interrupt this unique experience. Make sure you have enough drinks and meals already when you arrive.

Your PurePods accommodation is built from heavy glass so you can see everything, from the starry night sky above you to the native plants growing beneath your feet. 360-degree views provide unforgettable angles of Forsythia Lake and the ancient volcanic banks. Open the large sliding glass doors on all three sides and revel in the special, secluded atmosphere. When the sky is particularly clear, you can see the Milky Way thanks to the few artificial lights - an experience you won't forget anytime soon.

If it gets colder, a biofuel-powered heater provides cozy warmth while you watch the rain or snow fall around you.

It doesn't get much more sustainable than this: the PurePods glass building doesn't damage the environment in any way; on the contrary, ferns can even grow under the glass floor, energy is generated from solar power, the rainwater feeds the plants under the building thanks to a rain gutter system, and LED light bulbs provide energy-saving light.

Amenities include a king size bed, small refrigerator, gas stoves, shower, toilet, cutlery, plates, cooking utensils, tea, coffee, milk, olive oil, sugar and ice. You will also find a first-aid kit, a fire extinguisher, a flashlight, a USB charger and toiletries in the PurePods.
