Exciting game drives will give you close-up look at wild animals and, with a little luck, at the Big Five - your personal safari experience. A plane will take you to the famous Table Mountain. You will spend unforgettable days in the stylish metropolis of Cape Town, between mountain ranges and the Atlantic Ocean. A country with countless angles - pull out your camera, because every moment is worth it!

Destination

Africa

Johannesburg - Hazyview - Kapama Private Game Reserve - Cape Town

Game viewing at Kapama Private Game Reserve is possible all year round. However, as it can get very hot and rainy in the South African summer, we recommend a safari from April to September.

The best time to visit Cape Town is the South African spring, from September to November, and the fall, between April and May - temperatures are pleasantly warm and rainfall is very low. The summer months, from December to February, are also a popular time to travel. Since many accommodations are booked up quickly because of the South African summer vacations, we recommend booking your trip well in advance.

Welcome to South Africa. You will land at Johannesburg International Airport and receive a warm welcome from a representative of our partner agency in the arrivals hall. After receiving your travel documents, you will go together to the rental car station to pick up your car. Your liaison will be happy to help you. With valuable little tips, you will make your way to your first accommodation, the elegant The Peech Boutique Hotel.

Time spent traveling from the airport to the hotel: approx. 30 minutes / approx. 23 km

1 night at The Peech Boutique Hotel**** with breakfast in Classic Room, Johannesburg, South Africa

Good morning in Johannesburg! After a rich breakfast, you will set off early in the morning for your next stop, the Tanamera Lodge, which is about four hours away. Unpack your camera right away - you will drive along the famous Panorama Route and enjoy fantastic views of South Africa's picturesque landscape. Among the most famous sights are Pinnacle Rock, a secluded rock jutting out of a deep valley, and God's Window, a viewing platform over the seemingly endless expanse of South Africa. This way you will not miss a single highlight!

With great photos in your gallery, you will arrive at Tanamera Lodge - at the gates of Kruger National Park - in the afternoon.

After freshening up in your room and if you are feeling up for it, you can go on an optional, unforgettable elephant ride through the African bush. Just contact us and we will make it happen.

Time spent traveling from Johannesburg to Hazyview: approx. 5 hours / approx. 406 km

4 nights at Tanamera Lodge*** with breakfast and dinner included in Luxury Chalet, Hazyview, South Africa

Start the morning with a rich breakfast before organizing and spending the day according to your wishes… But we have some suggestions for you, of course.

How about a trip to the Blyde River Canyon, the third largest canyon in the world? Take the Panorama route and visit one of the most spectacular natural phenomena of South Africa. Pull out your camera - you will experience a canyon that is about 26 kilometers long and up to 800 meters deep in some places.

Another place you can't miss is Bourke's Luck Potholes. Strap on your hiking boots - wooden paths and bridges lead you to various vantage points from which you can view the impressive rock outcrops and small waterfalls from different angles. We would like to recommend a short side trip to two waterfalls, the Lisbon and Berlin Falls. These natural wonders are located about 20 minutes away from Bourke's Luck Potholes.

After an eventful day in the African bush, a traditional Boma Dinner (optional) will be just the right thing for you. With classical delicacies, songs and dances, you will get to know the typical African tradition - it doesn't get any better than this!

Today your itinerary takes you to the vast Kapama Private Game Reserve. Here, on the edge of the Kruger National Park, the luxurious Kapama River Lodge awaits you - you will experience your unforgettable safari experience in the middle of the African bush!

Do you hear the roar of the lions? Pack your camera! Don't forget your binoculars either! During exciting game drives with experienced rangers you will get closer to Africa's rich wildlife than ever before. You will follow the tracks of the legendary Big Five and, with a little bit of luck, you might get to see them all - lions, rhinos, buffalos, leopards and elephants - in their natural habitat. Take fascinating pictures of giraffes, wildebeests and zebras - these will stay in your memory for a long time.
