Evening Food Tour of Tokyo

Your first stop tonight is Yurakucho. Mingle with the Salarymen - the office workers who relax after work with a beer and yakitori - grilled chicken skewers - in the eponymous yakitori alley. After this delicious snack, it's time for you to move on. Take the subway to the Tsukishima neighborhood. Here, many retro restaurants await you with the specialty called "monjayaki", a dish that consists of flour and vegetable dough with various toppings and gets prepared directly on the table with the help of a hot plate. A small iron spatula is used to eat it - enjoy your meal.

If you want to move on, at the end of the evening your guide can drop you off at an izakaya - a Japanese pub - in central Tokyo, from where you can explore Tokyo's nightlife on your own.
