Skijoring

Skijoring is known to very few winter vacationers, but it's precisely the right thing for all those looking for a unique challenge. Since the landscapes around Harads are relatively flat, skiing isn't possible. The alternative is skijoring! Your guide will prepare your horse that will pull you along the snow-covered paths. After you strap your skis to your feet, the guide will show you how to put on the harness you will hold onto during your ride. If you are not comfortable on skis, you can also change to a sled pulled by the horse.

Before you know it, your guide jumps onto your horse, and you're off into the snowy landscape! In the beginning, you might be a bit shaky, but with a little bit of getting used to, you’ll be gliding over the frosty fields in no time. As you become more steady on your skis, the horse will pull you faster! Don't worry about hurting yourself if you fall. The fresh snow is deep and powdery enough to catch your fall. The unforgettable skijoring excursion is one of the quietest and the most environmentally friendly means of transport to explore the landscapes around the Treehotel.

In case you fall into the snow, be sure to wear warm, waterproof clothes and snowshoes for this action-packed experience.
