Taormina city tour

You will be picked up from your hotel and drive with your travel companion to Taormina, one of the most famous places in Sicily, about 50 km north of Catania.

Surely you have already informed yourself about Taormina in advance and have come across the ancient theater. It is considered the most important monument of the city and still preserves the medieval charm of the town. The view from the upper tiers must have captivated the spectators even in the 3rd century B.C. Sit down on the stone steps where the Greeks once sat and enjoy the view of the bay and Etna.

Further in the city center, the elegant Corso Umberto invites you to stroll. Here, too, you will feel transported back in time as you walk along the road between the city gates, Porta Messina and Porta Catania. Even today, historical monuments of the ancient world line the street in the historic center and attract locals and tourists alike to stroll along.

Flower lovers and those seeking peace and quiet will find an oasis of peace in the English Garden. Exotic plants in bright colors and a unique view of the sea will make you forget your everyday life. At the end of the 19th century, the garden was laid out according to the English model. Stroll past old olive trees, palm trees and the exotic plant world while you enjoy the view of the coast from the promenade.
